About Us

Serving Single Adults (46 and older) in St. George and surrounding Stakes from Kanab to Mesquite.  We sponsor Firesides,  Dances,  and Activities,  every week.  See the “Calendar” tab for detailed Calendar Information. If you have any questions about the program you can contact the leadership committee by using the “Contact Us” tab or reach out to your ward and stake single adult reps. Sorry we do not have a 46+ Singles Ward.

To provide opportunities for single members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints to broaden their circle of friends and find acceptance, to maintain and increase hope and faith in the Savior, to be actively involved in the church, to render service, to make and honor sacred covenants.

Mission Statement

It is our mission to provide opportunities for single members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints to broaden their circle of friends and find acceptance, socialize in a safe friendly environment, maintain and increase hope and faith in the Savior, be actively involved in the church, render service and make and honor sacred covenants.

Participation in single adult activities is limited to single adult members, assigned Church officers, and single adult non members who are willing to abide by Church standards. A person who is separated from his or her spouse or is seeking a divorce may not participate until the divorce decree has become final according to law.

Standards 

We believe in God the Eternal Father, in His Son Jesus Christ and in the Holy Ghost.

We follow the Lord’s word of wisdom in abstaining from alcohol, tobacco and harmful drugs.

We uphold the dress standards of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in dressing modestly and appropriately for all occasions; and in being well groomed. That includes, no short shorts or skirts (knees should be covered), tight clothing, shirts that do not cover the stomach or other revealing attire. Clothing should cover the shoulders. Please avoid clothing that is low-cut in the front or back or inappropriately sloppy.

We follow the admonition of Paul the apostle in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous and in doing good to all men….If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.

Abiding by these principles helps us accomplish our goal of having His spirit with us at all times and in all places.
